Honestly, I didn’t expect to like these this much. Super lightweight compared to what I was used to, and way more comfortable. The multi-curve fit is a big plus—you barely notice them after a while. Feels like solid quality and definitely gives confidence when wearing them.

When I received these the only level 4 I had seen or felt were steel and very very heavy. I went big on these because heavy just isn’t a real solution for me. My spine is fractured, so I needed something much lighter but still offering rifle protection. These arrived and I didn’t believe the box was so light, I even had my fiancé feel it, (her armor is the steel plates, she had before meeting me). She is 115lbs wet, and she was astounded. We pulled them out to inspect them and they have a dense foam like backing and a hard front shell. They literally weigh a few pounds each. Needless to say, now we are going to replace hers with these. Easy win in my book. If I ever have to rely on these in real time, and survive, I will update my review accordingly.
