NIJ LEVEL IV SAPI CUT SINGLE CURVE CERAMIC ARMOR PLATE FEATURES:
Your RTS Tactical Ceramic Level IV plate is constructed out of small squares of ceramic, by constructing the plate in that manner, it gives this plate the ability to be a multi-hit plate. If one square gets shot the rest of the plate is still intact.
When it comes to ceramic armor, spalling is kept to the bare minimum compared to steel which would need an upgraded spall coating to contain the fragmentation.
This Level IV ceramic plate has a waterproof polyurea coating which gives the plate a long-lasting ballistic integrity, as well as an upgraded foam face giving you extra protection in case the plate were to fall on the ground.
This Level IV body armor insert is capable of stopping multiple AP rounds by itself. Level IIIA backing panels are not required.
RTS Tactical Level IV Ceramic Hard Armor is capable of stopping 5.56mm NATO; .308 M80; 7.62x45; and up to the powerful .30-06 APM2 As per NIJ 0101.06
