WHAT HAPPENED?
On June 6th, New York Governor Kathy Hochul signed a bill that banned the sale of body armor to the general public in the state of New York.
They believe this will reduce crime rates yet, it is already illegal to use body armor in the commission of a crime in New York. Once again, all this "poorly-thought-through" law does is affect the law-abiding citizen.
WHAT WE BELIEVE!
The 2nd Amendment was designed to PREVENT an imbalance of power between government and civilians and laws like this feel like a clear violation of our rights to the constitution.
These "laws" are not about safety, they are about control. And we will continue to fight for our rights in the best way we can.
WHAT WE CAN DO!
If you reside in New York, we recommend purchasing body armor NOW.
On July 5th, 2022 we will no longer be able to ship Body Armor to anyone in the state of New York, except for law enforcement personnel.
However, any Body Armor products purchased before this cutoff date will be grandfathered in.
